Cátia Silva joined Dixcart in March 2023 as a Senior Qualified Accountant.
Cátia deals directly with prospective clients regarding the Non-Habitual Resident Regime (NHR) and specific tax queries relating to Portugal.
Prior to joining Dixcart, Cátia worked for twelve years in the tax and accounting department for a company associated with the international business centre of Madeira. During this time, she gained a broad range of experience, working with companies and people in different commercial areas and from different countries.
She graduated from the University of Madeira in 2010 with a degree in Management and has two postgraduate courses in Advanced Tax Law. One was done at ISAG (Instituto Superior de Administração e Gestão) in June 2012 and the second at Católica Porto Business School in June 2020.
She has been registered with the Portuguese Chartered Accountants Association since 2014.
In her free time Cátia enjoys traveling to new places. She also enjoys participating in team sports such as Basket Ball or Paddle Boarding.
